★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was fortunate enough to be in the neighborhood and to pay Watch Works Haarlem a visit. Farid received me in person and took all the time to talk watches and to help me choose and match some straps for some vintage watches. I ultimately settled on 3 straps (Midnight Blue, Indigo, Desert Sunrise), but I know I will be back for more. The quality of the leather straps and the Nubuck straps is outstanding. I appreciate that if you are not living in the Netherlands a personal visit is out of the question and buying straps online can be a challenge, but do give Watch Works Haarlem a try. You won't regret it. And for anyone who is still doubtful or skeptical: I had never met Farid before and I paid the normal price for the straps. I am just a very happy customer.

I was skeptical about buying a watch that I found on Instagram so I decided to move to Haarlem to meet Farid.
What an amazing experience to buy a watch from him. First, his shop is unique and you can find really rare pieces. Secondly, he will do all his best to restore watches using original parts and his watches look new ones even after 30 years or more.
He also managed to ensure waterproofness even for a 30+ watch which is not the case in every shop!
I truly recommend this shop and I will definitely stay in touch with him for further watches.

Got a prompt response from Farid, dropped by for his famous coffee moment and while he checked for repair possibilities, you could just not notice the passion he has for the smallest details and stories he can tell about watches and brands. A true watch-addict and connaisseur. And next to that he is also a very nice guy, always available for a chat and honest. His collection is small but shows quality over quantity, with a perfect service level. Would highly recommend WWH.

I wanted to talk with someone about how to care for this watch as it means so much to me. Farid was so kind and patient yet showing genuine enthusiasm for my timepiece. He wasn't there to upsell me things I didn't need but rather he helped instilled a greater appreciation for what I already have. If you are a fan of watches or just ready to buy your first piece, please pay WatchWorks a visit. He won't disappoint.

He has so much knowledge and enthusiasm that you'll probably end up drinking coffee for 3 hours and learn a lot about (vintage) watches. Just like I did.
Planning on getting my second watch from him this week. They also have amazing straps!
