★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Japanese restaurant with true Japan ?? flavors. The restaurant is nicely located not in China town or near other Asian restaurants in the city, so you will enjoy a more local setting.
The sushi is great and affordable for its quality, they even have traditional seatings if requested.

This is (for us) the best spot for Japanese food in Amsterdam and - until now - not only here. A must-try is the tempura roll and the green salad with sesame dressing (both on the pictures).
The restaurant is charming and has traditional Japanese seating area in the back. The staff is friendly and attentive.
There is just one "downside"- once you had sushi here you're spoiled for every other sushi place elsewhere ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, but slightly disorganised staff (got a wrong order twice). The menu is extensive so it might take a bit long but the quality is great and te prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants. Nice smal selection of very nice Sake and plum wine and shochu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was delicious, really good. Very good ingredients are used. We will go back to try new dishes.
For improvement: to give more time between each dish is served. We were kinda in a hurry to eat each dish since the next one was coming too fast. In the end we got two hot dishes and when we ate the second one it was already cold :(
Restaurant is amazing and I totally recommend it. Above point for improvement is a tip for the restaurant to make it even better!
