Mr. Cohen was one of the first in the Netherlands to start an Israeli shawarma restaurant and may call himself the proud inventor of the combination of garlic sauce with shawarma. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food. Terrible service. We ordered way too much because the waiter would not help us, even after we asked if it was enough or too much... He just shrugged... but everything was delicious.
Service is definitely lacking. We were there for two hours and had one drink because the waiter just never came back after bringing our food. Can't blame it on being too busy, most of the time we were only two tables... it's a shame because last time I was here we had a wonderful waitress that recommended food and drinks to us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is really nice and the Shakshuka with feta cheese and eggplant is really good. It’s a lot of food so take care before you order too much. Israeli beers are also nice to try. The place is small and they don’t take reservations so plan your visit well with small party.

The staff recommended these dishes for us because it was our first time here and he shared with us how to eat pita bread. We really appreciated that haha. I also like the chill vibe.
