We had a wonderful experience at Amicitia. The rooms are really small but the view makes up for it! Breakfast had a good variety of cold cuts, eggs and bread. The staff was helpful during our check in. Its very close to Amsterdam central station and takes 10-15 min to walk. Nemo museum is a 5 min walk !

Small boat with a beautiful view of the city. Free breakfast provided between 8 to 10am(bread, cheese, jams, Nutella, peanut butter, juice, milk)basically a buffet. Checkin at 2 pm and check out at 10.30am. you are allowed to store the bags before and after checkin. That's very kind of the manager of the boat. Stayed there with my friends for a day. It was a wonderful experience.

I knew from reading reviews before I got there that the rooms would be small but they are seriously tiny! The room was clean as were the toilets and showers, and there was never a queue for them. The showers are small so no room to bring in clothes and get changed inside. The bunk beds are comfortable but no room to sit anywhere in the room. You do get a sink in your room at least. We aren't early risers so never tried the included breakfast. There was a dining area/lounge you can hang out in and a deck on top of the boat. Staff are friendly. The location is very good. Right by the NEMO science museum and around 10 mins walk to the centre or central station. I didn't find it too noisy, after 11pm was supposed to be quiet time but on our last night we heard music playing all night. Went up to turn it off around 4.30am and no one was even listening to it. Also the toilets got quite dirty on the morning we left.

Boat was clean, however we found our room occupied on return day one with our items pushed to one side and a stranger having slept in our bed. Manager sorted it but it took a while. The noise from other guests at night and in the early hours was pretty bad so suggest ear plugs or be a heavy sleeper. Location is amazing though. No access to coffee or tea except at breakfast so be prepared to walk for a cuppa if you need one. Showers were fine and toilets clean but very small. Would I return unlikely as a good night's sleep when exploring is something I value.

Nice place to sleep. Good price and good location. The room is very small and the shower is a 1x1m box, so you have very little space to place your clothes. Very high probability of having your clothes soaked in water during shower, so be careful.

Quite possibly the worst hotel in Amsterdam. Run by rude, obnoxious men who leer and abuse. The room was borderline disgusting, the bedding was damp and smelly and the windows couldn’t be seen through due to the built up dirt on them. Breakfast is weak and not worth mentioning. The boat is owned by a group of cowboys who has a few boats on pier three. I would seriously advise using any of these boats to stay.

Boat-Hotel, with good instructions following reservation (you need to 'self check-in'). Nice experience to sleep on a boat but it's more hostel style: though you do have very tight private rooms with 2 bed bunks, shower and toilets are shared. Very decent breakfast.

A nice view of the city . They include breakfast and are very friendly . The rooms are very small and sharing a toilet and shower with other guests . For a back packer its perfect .
