★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful customer service. Booked this apartment for my dad's 50th birthday 6 months in advance. They have now cancelled the booking 1 month before we are due to fly. They also stated how the cancellation was free, that's good that I won't get charged for there idiocy. If I could rate this zero star I would.

1- Best location with a great harbor view
2- Best host i have ever met in many places
In the world.
3- The pictures can’t Describe how amazing the suites are from kitchen to rooms ,bed , Furniture, space, shower,Wifi, hot water and of course Bathrooms.
4- Everything in the house u need is there
5- Super clean
6- you gotta more than one key ? to swipe

Book Harbour before i do Because i might go any time HarbourSuites is my new house and my one and only option in Amsterdam
My Recommendation is suites number 3
My rate is 10 out of 5 yeah it is !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thieves. There's way too many expensive additional changes that aren't included in the room's price. We had to pay 239€(!) extra, for:
- 30€ for late check in (after 8pm) - we already payed for the day and barely used it, are you seriously taking more money from us?
- 144€ (!) for cleaning fee - nobody cleaned our room the entire stay, and there's basically nothing to clean there...
- 65€ for city tax (7% of the total price) - well that's not the hotel's fault, but just so you know.
You know, wouldn't mind pay this much, but why hiding it in small letters? This is just disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome home away from home! So much better & bigger suites, than a hotel. We love Harbor Suites!! The owner's son Stan, is/was very friendly & offered us tips about this beautiful city. You can tell they really care about our stay. They are offsite but can easily help with requests (extra towels, coffee etc).
The decor is awesome & unique! Suites the amazing history in Amsterdam. Each suite looks great so you can't lose. We have a beautiful view of the harbour & sunrise :) There is a cute brown bar for drinks... steps away (25 steps to be exact!) Awesome location to walk the city and bike rentals are a few blocks away! Safe area with very easy access to the train station to other parts of Holland & beyond. We are day 3 of our 8 day stay.. looking so forward to the rest!
We highly recommend Harbor Suites!!

Units are not stocked with enough towels and other toiletries, you have to request more and that may get to you 2 days later. Don't expect a "hotel" experience, you are staying in an apartment. otel"

Amazing, kind hosts who were always available and helped us carry our luggage in the many many stairs. The apartment decor is incredible and the beds+bathroom are comfortable.
10 minuets walk from the central station, 15 from dam and 5 from the closest coffee shop.
The only downside is that there was broomstick or soap so the apartment got dirty very quickly and there’s no cleaning service.
(You’ll have to buy toilet paper,soap, salt for cooking and garbage bags)
