★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Does the job. Location is convenient and the staff were nice. The room itself had good points and bad. Good - modern, had the required features, comfortable bed. Bad - small, little dusty, spider in the bath mat and the particular room I was staying in was only reachable by a tall set of narrow stairs which was difficult to get to with a suitcase (most rooms are accessible by elevator though).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was pretty standard. Staff were polite enough amenities were fair. I found the bedding a lot more decorative than comfortable so didn't sleep amazingly. Patterned / textured pillows were a little rough. Well located and did the job but nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the comfiest bed I've ever had at a hotel ever. The breakfast is a continental style, not my favourite but it's nice. And there's a grill really close. The staff are friendly.
Its so close to central station too. I would definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got here on aug 14 during pandemic crisis. The hotel is well equipped with hand sanitizer in the entrance.
The location is 10/10 because of its proximity to nieuwmarkt (100 m). City hotel also offers you a private room with toilet in it on a fancy price (below the average).
Discounts on museum/tours are available in the reception.
Breakfast is also included with much politeness and variability.
Personelle is kind and young.
Cons:
I don't know if every room, but at least in my room there was no air conditioning available. But fans and openable windows cluld keep you healthy even during August period.
I really suggest you to think about this hotel if you re planning a healthy economic trip in AMS

Bathtube îs clogged
Floor îs sticky and dirty, hair on the floor
The room îs very cold, no ac to set temperature
Cheap toilet papper
The feeling it is like in a student dorm
The pillows and towels smells realy Bad
For 100€ Per night it îs a theft

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location, 7 min walk from Amsterdam Central and China Town.
Small rooms but very comfy bed and pillows.
Walking shower and toilet with perfect pressure band temperature.
WiFi is very fast and stable.
Staff is international and very friendly and helpful.
Just a minor point is that there is no fridge in the room to stock up food or drinks.
