Cute little museum with amazing waffle! Love the waffle and the cosy little corner for people to dine in. Would prefer if there's more explanation in the little museum.

This intimate museum dates from 1658. The original bakery, with its authentic bread oven and beautiful marbled floor, is full of tempting goodies. The name of the museum comes from the Duivekater, a famous Zaanse sweet bread. taste the Duivekater in the bakery, along with other traditional Dutch baked products and confectioneries. The bakery was donated to the Zaanse Schans in 1970 by the Zaanse company Koninklijke Wessanen nv. It originally stood on Hazepad in Zaandijk.

I live in the Netherlands and always being my visits from station Zandaam to Zaanse Schans by bike, because it is a must. We just visited the bakery with my brother and had a great experience having a fresh apple cake and a waffle. The girl who helped us was very kind and the place itself is so nice inside, really shows takes you back in time. I recommend visiting to everyone going to the Zaanse Schans.

I unfortunately did not enjoy the old, cold, heated up and prebaked waffle. Your staff even talked about the one handed to the customer before being cold, why hand it out than? Is that not the bare minimum when they are not fresh if you advertise them hot? Take some pride in what you do. My advice is you try and compare your product, a 15 seconds heated one to one you freshly bake. I feel like no one likes to eat some hard piece of dough :/
