★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place for broodjes and calzoni. Good dough in pizza and calzone though they don't use fresh mushrooms. The bad thing is that you have to pay cash. Must go if you are in Utrecht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A visit to Utrecht isn’t complete if you haven’t stopped for a calzone at Mario’s. Quick service, affordable prices and amazing food. Beware that you have to pay with cash only but it’s worth it. Don’t hesitate in case there is a long queue, it moves very fast!

I have been going since my childhood and I still miss the taste of Broodje Mario from far away. It was also my fathers favourite place. You can't get a sandwich like it even in Italy. The photo is old, but I couldn't resist not to write about Broodje Mario!
