J	Jessie Shen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you ask in advance exactly when and how to return the bikes! We had rented a bike from them for a couple of days. When we took the bikes out, we had specified which day we would want to return the bikes. The staff failed to inform us that the store would not be open on that day. When we came to return the bikes, it was locked and it was impossible to get a hold of anyone from the store. We had to lock the bikes outside and slip the keys through the mailbox and leave a note. We also never got our cash deposit back (which was double the cost of the rental) despite reaching out to them a number of times...
I	Ich Du on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unless you are a pretty girl the service is mediocre at best. The best advice I have gotten from this place when asking for help place was to watch it on YouTube... Also they „fixed“ my brakes and when pointing out something was off another time on the very same brakes they told me that it hasn’t been done properly... There is another store of the same chain which is also pretty bad service as they wouldn’t even tighten one single screw without making a fuzz out of it. I would recommend going to another place, since these guys are clearly taking advantage of their good location in the center.

I have been riding it now for a couple of days and loving it. The man, i think he was the owner, who helped me couldn't do enough. I accidentally put too much air in my tyre and it burst.... and he replaced for free! (so embarrassing) Also gave me warranty on the bike and free servicing every 3 months for 3 services. Highly recommend.
A	Antoine Vandermeersch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been meaning to post a review for a while now. When I arrived in Amsterdam over a year ago I was looking for an affordable bike of good quality. I judged primarily based on reviews, and I ultimately chose Stadsfiets. I'm definitely not disappointed. It's been a year since I bought my trusty old Gazelle, definitely not the newest model, but a very trustworthy and lean bike that I use every day (13 km or more). You get 3 free checkups (3 months in between) and usually your bike is repaired after a few short hours. The last time I brought my bike in, the plastic bike handles had a tendency to come off. Even though I did not mention this to the people working there (instead a flat tire and in dire need of a new outer tire), I found that after the checkup they had secured the handles. The brakes also seemed to have been screwed a notch tighter. It's details like these that really make an impact on me. I'm confident I won't ever have to switch shops or services, great service!

They changed the front rack of my bike and fixed an issue that the previous bike shop had caused to the front forks due to poor mounting of the rack. I went to another 2 shops before this one. They asked 45 EUR with the risk that they wouldn't be able to even fix it because of missing parts. I ended up paying just 18 EUR at the City Bike Ceintuurbaan and the rack is now properly mounted. Also they changed the batteries of the lights for free.
S	Stipo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have bot two bikes here already and I have been back for all kinds of repairs. Repairing a flat tire is 10 euro and I think that is very reasonable. In my case the guys were always very nice and would each time do something extra on my bike without charging me for it. Last time they put a bell on my bike free of charge because I need one, they said. :-) Thanks, guys!
C	Chris Yerbey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I have been coming to this bike shop for over 10 years. We bought every single new bike that we’ve ever owned in Amsterdam from this one shop. We live on the other side of town now and still come back here because these people are the most honest bike repair people and sales people that we know. Highly recommended also for tourist looking for rental bikes as their prices are fair and the terms are fair.
