Alhoewel de monopolisten van de familie Nobel zelf dit waarschijnlijk 'nonchalant' zullen noemen. Wat een treurnis. Customer unfriendly with a capital 'K'. And an incorrect invoice. Extremely disinterested, almost disdainful attitude towards customers. Although the monopolists of the Nobel family themselves would probably call this 'casual'. What a sadness.
K	Kees van Leeuwen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 e-bikes gehuurd voor een dag: bij de ene fiets ging na zo'n 500 meter de controller kapot. Teruggegaan en fiets omgeruild; bij de andere fiets was de accu ineens leeg, waarschijnlijk ook door een defect; accu was vol bij aflevering . Er werd door de medewerkers erg onverschillig gereageerd op het feit dat er aan beide fietsen een defect bleek te zijn. We gaan voortaan wel ergens anders heen. Rented 2 e-bikes for a day: with one bike the controller broke after about 500 meters. Returned and exchanged bicycle; on the other bicycle the battery was suddenly empty, probably also due to a defect; battery was full on delivery. The employees responded very indifferently to the fact that both bicycles turned out to be defective. We will go somewhere else from now on.
j	jg vermeij on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Komen met regen langs om een lekke band van onze eigen fiets te laten repareren. De fietsenmaker weet niet welke maat de band heeft (?!) en kan het niet aflezen.ik stel voor de band eraf te nemen en te kijken. Hij heeft duidelijk geen zin. Vraagt of hij of ikzelf de band ga wisselen. Ik vraag of hij dat wil doen, maar daar heeft hij nu geen tijd voor. Er is verder niemand. Ik besluit een band te kopen en het zelf te doen. Eerst verkoopt hij mij een verkeerde binnenband die zeker niet zou passen. Gelukkig zie ik dat zelf. Op mijn vraag om 3 bandenlichters te lenen wordt gezegd dat hij dat niet doet. Ondanks dat we in de werkplaats staan moet ik een reparatie setje kopen. Onder zijn toeziend oog wissel ik buiten in de regen de band, nog geen 10 min werk, wel vuile handen en een onbegrijpelijke frustratie verder. Kom al tientallen jaren op Ameland en herken de typisch Amelander stugheid, die gelukkig bij de "nieuwe" generatie Amelanders verdwenen lijkt. Have been coming to Ameland for decades and recognize the typical Amelander stiffness, which fortunately seems to have disappeared in the "new" generation of Amelanders.
H	Harm V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bakfiets en een fiets met hondenkar gehuurd om zo het eiland te kunnen bekijken zonder auto. Helaas na 4 km accu al leeg van 1 van de fietsen. Half uur gewacht kwamen ze een nieuwe brengen. Blijkbaar geen communicatie onderling en hadden ze de verkeerde accu mee. Uiteindelijk in totaal een uur in de duinen gewacht met een baby, 2 jarige en een hond. Weer naar huis gegaan i.v.m. slaapjes van de kinderen. Blijkt de andere fiets ook weer leeg te zijn. Allebei de fietsen linea recta teruggebracht, helaas weinig reactie van de verhuurders. Jammer zo'n einde van onze vakantie. Tip: mocht je hier wat huren, controleer daar of de batterijen vol zijn en mochten ze leeg raken, meerdere keren goed doorgeven welk merk fiets je bij je hebt. Turns out the other bike is empty again. Both bikes returned straight away, unfortunately little response from the rental companies. A shame such an end to our holiday. Tip: if you rent something here, check there whether the batteries are full and if they run out, tell us several times which brand of bicycle you have with you.

Der Lieferserrvice war gut und bereits am Anreisetag standen die Fahrräder an der Unterkunft bereit. Dafür gibt es 1 Stern. 2. Die Kreditkarte wurde bereits umgehend belastet (19.05.), obwohl die Leistungs für die Reservierung erst am 23.07. erfolgte. Negativ, das kann man besser lösen. Zumal man nicht unbedingt reservieren muss. Es gibt genügend Fahrräder auf der Insel, die man auch sofort ohne Reservierung leihen kann. 2. Ein Urlauber konnte wegen Krankheit nicht mitfahren. Dieses Fahrrad haben wir gleich am 1.Tag zurück gebracht. Hier haben wir erwartet, dass auch der Geldbetrag zurück bezahlt wird. Fehlanzeige. Keine Erstattung. weder vor Ort (Antwort:"Kein Geld zurück") noch auf die Email wurde reagiert. Schade, dann das nächste mal doch wieder bei "Kiewiet" in Nees, den können wir zu 100% von den letzten Urlauben empfehlen! 3. Schlechter Zustand der Fahrräder.... Bremsen gingen nicht gut, Schaltung defekt, Hundebox gingen die Nieten ab.... Qualitätsprüfung vor Ausgabe derr Räder ist etwas anderes. In diesem Sinne.... nächstes Jahr werden wir wieder bewährte Qualität in Nees buchen. Overall bad service! Our feedback looks like this: 1. With this in mind .... next year we will book proven quality in Nees again.

Vragen we zelf om een schoeivedraaier, nee hoor kan ook niet . Deze valt dus in de categorie, geen aanbeveling ! Bad service ! Come there with a chain that is off, own bike (closed chain guard) no no time to look at it. Do we ask for a screw driver ourselves, no, that's not possible either. This one falls into the category, not a recommendation!
P	Piet Rijpstra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tja, daar zit je dan op je eigen fiets...zonder zadel..! Met een knal brak een 8 mm bout van de zadelbevestiging van mijn trek fiets. Gelukkig is er in Ballum Nobel fietsverhuur -en reparatie. Een inbusboutjes was snel gevonden en lenen van een inbussleutel was geen probleem. Natuurlijk kwam de fietsenmaker nog even helpen. Wat ben ik u schuldig...? Nee hoor, zo is het goed. Gewoon Ameland op zijn best. Nog bedankt en dikke pluim Nobel! Well, there you are on your own bike...without a saddle..! With a bang, an 8mm bolt from the saddle mount of my trek bike broke. Fortunately, in Ballum Nobel there is bicycle rental and repair. An Allen bolt was quickly found and borrowing an Allen key was no problem. Of course the bicycle mechanic came to help. What do I owe you...? No, that's fine. Simply Ameland at its best.
