★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grand Café Krasnapolsky did it again. After adding amazing freakshakes to the menu, I discovered their bespoke coffee creations. The cotton Candy coffee is like nothing I had before. I always Enjoy to watch all the tourists at the Dam while enjoying a drink or some classic food in a pretty interior. Marble tables, green leather sofa’s, interior dreams do come true. Looks rather chique, but don’t let that keep you from going in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grand Cafe Krasnapolsky is part of the classical -though completely and highly modernly renovated- Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on Dam Square in the centre of the centre of Amsterdam. Walking distance from Central Station. I really enjoyed the surprise menu of three Hors d'Oeuvres plus a glass of great white wine at the bar in anticipation of a business dinner elsewhere. Service very friendly, food outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good looking dishes, staff was ok. We asked for fish and the dish had pork, simple stuff they can lay attention to. Also staff was overloaded on the Friday we visited. Cakes looked good but we're all gone before our turn came :(

A late coffee in the afternoon in this excellent Grand Cafe and dito service, we are still happy that Frans is still around for small talk and good atmosphere. Thanks Jesus from Cadiz for the kind and good service, a joy to be here.

As usual fine excellent service here, good atmosphere and a escape from the busy centre of Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, absolutely stunning restaurant with nice big windows. Got the club sandwich and the salmon avocado bagel. Would recommend this place for lunch or breakfast, it’s located in a lovely hotel. Only complain is the service is terribly slow, we had to wait to be seated even though the restaurant was nearly empty, the host was talking on the phone while we were just standing there waiting, would expect better service from such a nice hotel.
Might return for their high tea, which looks wonderful (booking recommend).
