★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Korean food to go, at very affordable prices with very friendly staff. (Insider tip: get the Bibimbap, then go to the top of the Hudson Bay for an almost private terras view of the centre of Maastricht to enjoy your meal. Buy a coffee from the La Place there for admittance).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After living in Taiwan for 7 years, I can say this place is legit! I’ve had their takeout multiple times, and everything has been nothing but delicious. They also don’t over charge for their food like a lot of other places. For €8 you get a homemade lunchbox (Homemade! Not frozen food! She makes it fresh everyday.)
The job is also adorable — all of their products are carefully selected for quality. The goods in the shop aren’t Chinese knock offs from TaoBao or AliBaba (I would know! I used to work with companies who sold from there). Most actually say “Made in Japan.” There is also a great selected of local designers and artists who sell their work there as well.
In short, if you’re looking for a more authentic and local vibe, this is the spot. Lots of locals (students, professors, Maastricht residents) all come and stop by so you get to meet some great people. There’s an awesome area in the back that’s quiet where you can eat and work on your laptop even.
