★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple small hotel very close to outer canal. Room and bathroom is clean and well serviced. 32" TV with small selection of channels. Not a lot within 400 m of hotel. Breakfast is simple and adequate. Room decor is grey. Quiet. Windows are large and open up in my room. No plug for hand basin. No washing line in bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this hotel!! It's so cozy and has a lot of character. It's within walking distance of the entire city. The room was very clean. Plenty of hot water and water pressure too. The staff was excellent. They came back to clean the room after we had a lazy morning in. Perfect place to stay if you are traveling to Amsterdam. Hands down the best hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is good, located a short walk outside the city centre (maybe about 15/20 minutes from Dam Square)
The staff are lovely and very helpful even on days we didn't need the room cleaned the did offer towels or check if there was anything else we needed.
The bathrooms are maybe in need of a little renovation, they look a little outdated compared to the rooms however they are clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The AC is aimed directly at the head-end in the bed - who installs an AC like that? I got neck pain over night. Also on Google they are advertising with a price per night of 50€ including tax . On arrival it turns out to be 60€ because it didn't contain VAT and tourist tax - that's false advertisement. There are nicer places for that price. Can't recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reception was friendly and kind! The breakfast was good and plenty. The hotel is located in a very beautiful area of amsterdam and close to many bars and shops. The matress was disappointing and the room was small with lack of any kind of decoration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is ideally located, in just a few minutes you can reach the Leidseplein. From there you can easily explore Amsterdam. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff takes care of every wish and is very friendly. If you need groceries, Lidl is only a two-minute walk away. There is a sandwich shop and a pizzeria right by the hotel. I have stayed at Hotel D'Amsterdam twice and will be returning soon. Thank you for everything
