Absolutely horrible customer service! After the announcement of the lockdown in the Netherlands, I called the hotel to request a cancellation of my booking, but they declined. After I told them that my friends who also booked a room had already been able to cancel, they told me that they did not, event though I sent them screenshots of the cancellation. They even denied the fact that there is a lockdown despite it being all over the news. Upon asking for more details as to the difference in situations, they hung up on me. Not what you expect from the hospitality industry, especially considering the circumstances.

Terrible customer service. A group of us had booked a couple rooms for a weekend in Amsterdam together. Unfortunately, due to the Netherlands going into lockdown, this trip is no longer possible. The hotel accepted a cancellation from half the group, and would only provide a change of dates for the other half of the group - only until the end of the month while the lockdown is still scheduled!!! How is this a reasonable way to handle a group traveling together???

Excellent location, just a 10 min walk and you can already see the canals. My room was spotless and they provided many amenities which I used. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

When I did my booking, I wasn't sure if it was a good choice. But the hotel itself and all staff was excellent. Great location, easy to go from the airport. Just take bus 397 and ask the driver to stop the last stop before Nassaukade, the street of the hotel. After you stop there, just continue till the end of the street and go left, the hotel is right there. Has a great breakfast, a bar and a convenience store. Rooms are nice and clean. Close to city center, just take the tram 2 or 12. You can buy a pass for only one day till four. If you go to Amsterdam, that's the place to stay, close to supermarket and restaurants. Five stars for me. Has free wifi and works great. The decorations thru the hotel are awesome, lot of colors, really cool to see. Several different places where you can just seat down and relax or work. Again for me, best option ever. Five stars.

Good hotel in a great location. Not too expensive but rooms are really small. Quite and cozy. Check-in and check out are contactless. We did not try the breakfast and have a suitcase storage room. Recommended it.

Tiny, but comfortable rooms, breakfast is good too. Wasn't aware of the tax thing when we arrived, or the steep steps at the entrance, but the staff are nice and it's really well placed for visiting the old city. Swings and roundabouts ❀

I must confess that when I saw the pictures of the room, that sink was a big NO to me. However, I have zero complains about it, in the end it was actually useful because while my boyfriend was showering I could do my makeup peacefully. The bed is extremely comfortable but we didn't love the pillows. They were too big for our taste. However, everything else was just perfect. After reading many reviews I thought the room was gonna be small but it's not that small, it has a decent amount of space. The self check in and check out are extremely easy. We didn't use the mini market at the entrance but it can be useful as they have travel size products. The breakfast has a good variety (fruit, pancakes, pastries, yoghurt, etc.) and the food is tasty. All the rooms have kettle and coffee machine as well as coffee capsules and tea which is awesome. The location is great to visit the main places of Amsterdam. Useful tip: There’s a bus (397) that comes from the airport and stops 300m away from the hotel and also goes the other way around. No need to call Uber, Taxi or get the train. The bus ticket is 6.50€ or 11.75€ if you buy the return ticket. Can be bought online or directly to the driver - only card accepted.
