β β β β β Pros: safety, privacy.
Cons: expensive, small rooms, loud street even on Sunday night.
Titus is in a safe part of Amsterdam. But the price for a 2 twin bed room was stupidly expensive compared to similar hotels and private hostel rooms. There wasnβt even room to put our bags anywhere, so the two bags we had took up all the floor space. It had the second smallest bathroom I have ever used.
It was actually a challenge to sit down on the toilet without bumping my head on the sink or door handle.
I will say it was nicer than most comparable private hostel dorms for sure, not a bad view out the window. The other big problem was the staircases were VERY steep and I donβt think there is an elevator. I almost fell down the stairs more than once because of how small and steep they were... and Iβm generally not very clumsy.
2 of the staff members were very nice. The other 1 was very rude.
On the second day, they took all our towels and left us with only 2 shower towels... it was very odd.
Overall, the only reason I would stay here again is if everything else was booked up, and they had a reasonable price that wasnβt β¬90 per person per night.
If youβre looking for hostels, go to ClinkNOORD on the north side of town and get a smaller room. That place was much better and my favorite in Amsterdam.

β β β β β DON'T BELIEVE THE 3, 4, or 5 β REVIEWS!! This place has "non smoking" rooms but they still allow people to smoke elsewhere in the place & the paper thin walls allow the smoke right through. Rooms are TINY, like 8' x 8' with no A/C phones or fans. The "mattresses" are literally 3" thick (thin). But the real hassle with these Amsterdam places are the Aztec-temple-steep stairs! To the 2nd floor, you're looking at 32 steps that are 7" wide (deep) and literally at a 45 degree angle if not steeper. I can only imagine a drunk person falling down those steps to their death or maiming. If you pay extra you'll get a shower. Otherwise, it's communal showers. European style. The showers were nice and the water got plenty hot. The TV was 8' off the ground. See photos.

β β β β β A small place for sleeping. It is worth the price. Good location. 28 minute to central station. If you can not use stairs, there isn't a good place for you. Stairs are small and sharp. Corridor is narrow. Room is clean but small. Bed is small. I fall down the first night :) . There is a heater that I turn it off. Because here is so warm, even in the last days of December.

β β β β β Everyone on the reviews comment on the steep stairs. But Amsterdam is famous for their steep stairs. It's tipical Amsterdam. And if you going to complain about stairs go to a different country. Afterall I really enjoyed my stay, rooms are neat and evantho the room where I stayed was small it was all I needed. Because you don't go to Amsterdam just to sit in a hotel. We where barely there and at night we had everything that we needed.

β β β β β Bed is comfy though the place is very very small, we where down in the basement where the WiFi barely worked, you heard everyone at all hours of the night coming in and out keeping you awake. The stairs are very very dangerous and I couldnβt imagine someone walking down them if they have had a few drinks. The step also coming down from the bathroom is ridiculous as it is far to steep.

β β β β β Great location! The owners were super nice and attentive. We asked for a low floor because the stairs were very deep. They change both our rooms to the first floor and upgraded both our rooms. They also brought our suitcases to our room.
The stairs are extremely steep and shallow. Rooms are bare with basic necessities. Beds are clean, bathroom is small and clean. It does get noisy in the room with people coming and going at all hours of the night. Thereβs also a buzzing noise in the room (probably from old pipes, when people turn on their showers)

β β β β β Worse experience of my life!
I went there with 3 other friends⦠the pictures you may find on Internet, apart from the building view, are heavily photoshopped if not unreal at all!
It looked like to be in a pre-war bunker or in a submarine!
The double βroomsβ were literally 2x2 m2, with a bathroom so tiny that you could not neither close the door and we had to leave the room in rotation, in 1 roomβ¦ while in the other room the water sink was directly outside the bathroomβ¦ right above the bed feet!!!
Windows were stuck/broken and could not be open to refresh a bit the air.
Mattress was extremely tiny, the walls were even tinier!
If on one side it is understandable that Amsterdam is not a cheap city, on the other side paying 50β¬/night should cover a place that preserves decency and dignityβ¦ and this place has none of them! A hostel is highly more recommendable than this place!
Have fun with the attached pictures!
ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!

β β β β β Worst hotel experience ever.
Room are tiny. Toilets are barely usable and you can't use it with closed doors.
Mattresses are very small and in my room there was a sink (yes, you're reading this correctly) next to bed, because toilet wasn't big enough - pictures as proof.
Room was rented for 2 people, on the paper, but it wasn't big enough to host 2 standing people. To change and use services I had to alternate with my friend.
Floor was dirty and room was WITHOUT WINDOWS.
SERIOUSLY.
Don't rent this hotel.
Go to some hostel, will be funnier and cheaper.
Plus, photos from website are total scam, heavily photoshopped.
