Wij assisteren U graag bij het boeken van een taxi, het huren van een fiets, het verkrijgen van bioscoop- of theaterkaartjes of een reservering voor een restaurant. U heeft bij ons de keuze uit gerieflijke ruime kamers met prive-faciliteiten in de kamer zelf, of kamers waarbij de douche en het toilet zich buiten de kamer bevinden, doch wel uitsluitend voor Uw gebruik zijn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once booked, I was informed by the hotel that Amsterdam now has a 7% city tax and a 3€/person/night local tax. Given that, the hotel’s 4% surcharge if you use credit card to pay, and the LACK OF free breakfast (it is 10€), the amount one pays per night is quite pricey. Additionally, we paid the entirety of the bill (at least they let us ago at the time), but 2 days later, our room keys suddenly weren’t working. Good thing it was before 10 pm, so we were able to go to the reception to resolve the issue. It was that peskY local tax they didn’t remind us to pay at the beginning, so they froze our room key access.
Aside from that though, the place was decent. The room was sizable and everything was clean. I liked that the bathroom had a mirror cabinet. Stairs and elevator were extremely cramped, which is an Amsterdam norm I’ve heard.
Location was close enough to the Museum Quarter (about 15 minute walk) and several trams nearby. WiFi worked for the most part, just slower at night.
Another weird thing: the person behind the reception was always different. We saw like 5 different people...

The room was nice, clean en the bed was wonderfull!
It is also a super location, down town but nice and quiet for a good sleep.
There is a superb Italian restaurant across from the hotel.

Booked via hotels.com and received an email saying the hotel has cancelled the booking!! Well thanks a lot with a few days left till travel
