β β β β β THIEVES !!!!!!! HOTEL MAX, FLORIS AND IRIS !! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!! UNDER ONE MANAGEMENT!!
They locked our room and took money from my girlfriend's card without even calling us or email us!! We just went for a river cruise and when we came back they were locked our room with my pills inside it, but NO ONES CARE!!!! When we went to ask the girl from the reception, she told us that is because we damaged the sheets with a bit of stain (that can be washed!!). They fine us β¬80 for simple white sheets!! And they told us that they won't let us in the room if we do not sign the amount that they took from us. And we had two choices: to sign the receipt for β¬80 or to leave the hotel with no refunds for the already paid two nights!! They didn't care about my pills inside the room, they didn't care about our luggage inside the room, nothing!!! The only thing that they care was to sign the receipt for the money that they took from us without even inform us!!! THE WORST HOTEL THAT WE HAVE BEEN SO FAR!!! YOU DO NOT NEED THIS EXPERIENCE!! STAY AWAY FROM THOSE 3 HOTELS!!!

β β β β β As a young couple, me and my partner enjoyed our stay here for a few days. It's an easy walk into the main town (between 15-30 mins). Having a Lidl's opposite the hotel was really convenient too! Although the reception and check in, is at Iris Hotel (2 min walk) this is all pre warned when you book it, therefore there is no one to help with bags up the stairs but this was not an issue for us. The room size is small but all you need. Free WiFi and tv is a bonus. Everything was clean, and towels and bedding were changed everyday! Breakfast at Iris Hotel was lovely but maybe slightly expensive (at β¬9.50 each)- we only did it once and that was fine for us! Also there's a lovely seating area downstairs at the back which was very pretty. Would recommend for any couples or younger tourists.

β β β β β It's in a really good location. Close to tram stops and not too far from central places but far enough that it's quiet. Not for those who can't handle lots of steep stairs (unless you contact hotel to see if they can give you a ground floor room). Hairdryer in room but no kettle.
Less stars because the room was tiny. I mean tiny. We turned on the lights through the night because they were located behind our pillows. It was quite expensive which is understandable for August but was disappointed with the size of room for your money. Meant we couldn't just relax in our room as nowhere to sit other than the bed itself and no kettle for a nice coffee in the morning.

β β β β β Clean sheets, that was our expectation, and that we got. The rooms could use some fresh Paint, and cleaning of silicon in the bathroom. But again, its a cheap hotel. Very kind staff who helped us :) overall, a good place just to be during night.
Its very central, and your only 15 min walk from the centrum. Perfect.
During Our stay, there was a open market right in front of the hotel With Fresh food, clothing and so on, and to be mentioned, there was a grocerystore only 20 meter from the hotel ?

β β β β β It's bad here's why:
Do you want to check in at the hotel? Well you can't you go to a different hotel to check in...
You want the staff to send you to the right room? The staff at the check-in hotel doesn't know the layout of the actual hotel, sending us to the wrong floor.
You want toilet paper? Tough, buy your own at the lidl across the street.
You want to have a clean room? You can't, it's obvious why the staff doesn't know the layout, our bed was full (like from multiple people) of hair... So if sharing a bed with multiple strangers sounds fun then this is the place for you.

β β β β β The room is very clean but it comes with very minimal services (a WC and a shower in a tiny room and a small leaking sink near the bed). There is not a wardrobe. For who does not want to spend very much (while having a private toilette) this accommodation is perfect: there is a low cost market on the other side of the road.

β β β β β Hotel is in an ideal location, 30 minutes walk to the centre. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Room was small but included a mini wardrobe, towels, and clean fresh bedding. Only downside was the TV didn't work!

β β β β β A clean and neat hotel that just about cuts above the necessary requirements but leaves a lot to be hoped for.
For the positive side, all the rooms were clean with a good fresh scent, good lighting and a very nice air flow that is credit for the original design of the building.
After seeing two rooms, it was obvious that the furnishing was done in a sloppy fashion... One room had a tall mirror that hung uselessly above beds and I figured three better placements for it just in a few seconds looking around. The rooms could use some small tables, nightstands or shelves for small items.
The showers are outdated and even though a two-knob system is nothing new for me it always takes a long time to get a good water temperature out of the faucet. Also the tiling in the shower is chosen badly and is downright dangerously slippery. Also the floor inclinations are carelessly done, leaving puddles around the floor with nothing to help dry it.
And then there are the stairs. Very steep ones with a full floor carpet concealing a damaged, slanted step more often than not. Keep in mind if you have any mobility issues that this hotel is not for you aside from the first floor.
Also the check in had to be done in another place, hotel Iris, not too far away but still something that would have been nice to know during booking confirmation.
All and all, I won't say you shouldn't stay in the hotel, just be careful and don't expect anything than a locked room with very basic necessities.
