★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, sharp priced (for A'dam, a quite expensive place), <20' walk from the train station, nice view of the harbour and the NEMO science museum. Large and good breakkie buffet. Free self service tea/coffee throughout the day. Room & bathroom were clean. You do need to be lucky you don't have rowdy fellow guests, can be pretty disruptive on a boat. We were quite pleased.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing. I went there with the idea that this was a hotel and I was terribly disappointed. It is in fact a boat and you are going to stay in a cabin. However once I adjusted to that idea and embraced the experience I was amazed by the pros I had in staying here. The hosts are amazing. Never experienced a more relaxed and friendly stay in any place (I travel extensively and use both hotels and Airbnb). The breakfast is amazing and reflects the spirit of abundance the owner of the hotelboat has. They are very generous in everything they do and you literally feel at home. The shower is hot and the water pressure amazing. The bed comfortable and the room warm. I highly recommend this place also because of the very central location. I basically walked everywhere from our hotel. Don't expect a hotel, but you will be positively impressed by your experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were excited about visiting Amsterdam. The opportunity to sleep on a boat was an added bonus! We were initially nervous, but upon arrival we immediately felt at home by the staff. They were amazing and super helpful. We booked a room with two separate beds and had our own bathroom/shower. This place offers tremendous value!!! 15 minute walks from main attractions and a good night's sleep away from the hustle of Amsterdam. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we had during our two weeks traveling throughout Europe. Our only regret is not having more time to stay here ; ) See you next time Hotelboat Angeline!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the best time ever. Hosts Sarah and Dylan are so friendly and helpful. If your thinking of going to amsterdam stay here not in a hotel. Please be aware the steps are steep so not good for people with walking disabilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I previously posted a very poor review but Hotelboot Angeline responded brilliantly. We booked a weekend for our family and on arrival we were warned that an English stag party had booked for the weekend and they basically ruined our first night. We were up hourly due to them being loud and obnoxious through the night and considered leaving the hotel. We were travelling with our young daughter and didn’t want her staying with a load of drunk middle aged idiots.
But the staff couldn’t have been more apologetic. They moved us away from the stag party and assured us this was out the ordinary and it was their first (and they have decided last) stag booking. Consequently our second night was great!
The staff are absolutely terrific, the boat is extremely clean and well run. The location is perfect to get into the centre of the City and walk over to the amazing science museum.
