β β β β β Good clean hotel with very nice facilities. Good free parking and very secure. Staff were very professional and helpful. We had a lovely star. Also, the hotel is very close to the rail station, which was very handy for visiting Amsterdam centre. Had a very good night's sleep and the washing facilities were excellent

β β β β β Great hotel, nice and cheap. Good value for money. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to print the tickets for the ferry and the lady at the reception did it for me. The room was big and bright, great shower. Really clean. There was also a fridge in the room, it can always be helpful. It is situated close to the metro station, so it's very easy to get to the city centre, perfect location. There's a parking lot at the hotel as well, so if you have a car it's safe to leave it there.

β β β β β The reception is a bit off. Seeing someone with a phone headset in their ears instead of talking to me doesn't really show me a positive attitude towards guests.
The room was clean and the shower was nice, although the temperature kept changing. It's ok, not special, just ok.

β β β β β The stay at joy hotel was only for 1 night however, their room was very large with tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was large with shampoo and conditioner. And the internet connection was quite good, enough to attach netflix to the TV. Very easy to get to and from Amsterdam using the Metro. Only a 3 minute walk from the station.

β β β β β Very good place to stay on with value of money and free parking in the property. I had an experience where there were smoke smell in the room, I reported that and immediately they changed the room with an upgrade.

Quiet area
Very close to the Johann Cruijff ArenA (Ajax Amsterdam), about 15 min walking.
- The heating unit in the room (315) was malfunctioning all the time, used to stop randomly, and was getting freezing cold inside.
Needed to be started frequently.

β β β β β Room was nice and modern, but quite noicy. The reception phone was audible and the front door slammed shut with a loud bang several times during the night.
