Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center - Koetsierbaan 2

The whole hotel is held in a modern style. The staff is overall very competent as well as helpful. Rooms aren't the biggest I've ever seen, but clean. Especially the bathroom where cleanliness is absolutely essential. Is directly next to a huge mall, so going to the next grocery store is a thing of 2 minutes max.

I’m a guest who pays for a service. I was not properly welcomed, I thought I m speaking to a employee from the street... thought service has more quality! The bed protection and Towels where they washed with cigarette soap... it smelled the cigarette and it was horrible to dry my skin after the shower... repairs been done in the corridors, put at at least a warning or information signs... I thought they was a rubbery! I feel so unsafe and not welcomed. Had the feeling the employee don’t get training from the holder of the hotel. I did like the combination of beer, disco and hotel, the place looks nice from outside and it is a good place in town, nice and quiet. I will not come back so soon.

Very bad customer service. I don't recommend this hotel. I called to place a reservation and I was put on hold 2 times until the phone connection for waiting too long

It's a pitty that the rooms are sold during renovation, renewing :-( and you are on holiday

Staff was great. When me and my significant other were staying at the hotel the staff was relatively young, but very professional. They immediately made the hotel feel modern and lively. Pro's: - There's a small amount of drinks and snacks you can just get at the hotel at any time, down at the reception, which is nice. - Room looked nice. Interesting, modern design. Many different lights to turn on and off. - There was an extra pillow in a bag in case you want one, very nice. - Heater changes temperature very quickly. Especially gets warm quickly. For cooling down we personally opened the window since that was adequate with the current weather. - Pretty comfy bathtub. (1 person) - A safe that can store my bulky, beefy laptop. Which was more useful then ever before. (Continue reading to see why) Cons/easy improvements - Loudest mini-fridge I've ever seen (or I guess heard). We had to turn it off at night. It's honestly weird first finding out that that loud noise is that tiny fridge. It also was positioned near the door, instead of in the room. Luckily it was easy to move, though that does mean more noise. - There was a nice desk, yet only one chair in the room, a double room. So only one person could sit and eat there. - They made it so you can't access the TV's ports. So bringing an HDMI cable to watch some movies or shows is useless, since you simply can't do it. Very easy to fix, don't see why they've done that. So bringing my laptop was useless in that regard. - The bed was advertised as 1 queen bed, but it really still was a two mattress bed, and with that a very noticeable one. The topper to make it feel like it was one mattress was too thin and/or overused. The middle of the bed was not very comfortable and quite uneven. - No good place to hang your used towel, to let it dry. - Kinda awkward toilet paper placement, it's behind you more then next- or in front of you. (It might sound a lot worse than it is, it really isn't bad at all. And they are mostly very easy fixes, and if you ask me they're very much worth it to fix. I hope they'll do something with it.) :)

The hotel is in a good location, with a beautiful view. We liked the positive attitude of staff. We were expecting hand sanitizers and tissues to be present in the hotel room, even though we brought our own. However, if it's already there then it would be great.

Helpful staff with nice clean rooms.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Great location. Not the most inspiring rooms, but good enough to crash after a long drive. The beds are very soft and comfortable.
