★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simon en Evert hebben heerlijke verse haring. Altijd van goede kwaliteit.
Voor de kinderen halen we hier altijd kibbeling. Af en toe halen we de kibbeling ergens anders en dan beginnen de kinderen meteen te klagen dat ze het niet goed vinden.
Als wij kibbeling willen, gaan we nergens anders meer heen.
Simon and Evert have delicious fresh herring. Always of good quality.
We always get kibbeling here for the children. Every now and then we get the bickering elsewhere and then the children immediately start to complain that they don't like it.
If we want bickering, we won't go anywhere else.

Fine herring sandwich with onion. The damage: € 4 can probably be explained by the location (city center).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portie kibbeling a 5 euro, netjes een minuutje in de magnetron opgewarmd. Aanrader wanneer u van slappe zooi houdt! Medewerker overigens wel vriendelijk voor wat het waard is.
5 euro portion of fish, neatly heated in the microwave for a minute. Recommended if you like weak stuff! Employee, incidentally, friendly for what it is worth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the most unfriendly person i met since i moved to the netherlands! we went there to see their fish and were discussing if we should buy some. he was super rude by telling us after 20 seconds, if we don't buy anything we should leave. and then he was getting even more rude by speaking in dutch to a lady there, that we are annoying blablabla... what he didn't know is that i understand almost every word in dutch. will never ever buy there.

If you don't like haring, still give the smoked eel a try. It's similar to smoked salmon.

I've seldom been so disappointed. I thought for the price this would be at least of medium quality. Oh, how naive. Thanks Simon en Evert Vishuisje for lowering the bar of fried fish.
Taste was inconsistent per piece and really fatty, no crunch at all.
Would not recommend.
