If you're renting here be prepared to be waiting months on your deposit. They don't care and will pay you back when they feel like it. Other tenants and I have heard every excuse in the book on why the deposit hasn't been refunded yet.

Newest residence of Student Experience, it is so chic, zen, fashionable, tech-friendly and everything I would want in my life. You can live here as a short term student or student intern for 6 to 12 months which is great for not committing too much but still like benefitting from perks of the city as a student.

false positive fire alarm are extremely common (more than once per week) and can go on for hours. it can even happen at 2am. it makes the place practically unlivable. i highly don't recommend. not to mention it being completely useless in case of a real fire

Won't give me access to my mail, bikes don't work, awful service, reception is NOT 24 hours, fire alarm goes off three times a week, six laundry machines and four dryers for the entire building. Don't waste your money, this building will only frustrate you.

The building is gorgeous and super new. The rooms are beautiful. The only flaw is the management that maybe is still in its infancy. For a while the internet connection was bad, and working from home is a big problem. I would advise the managers to buy more vacuum cleaners, at least one per floor. One vacuum cleaner for the whole building is not enough. Good point is the bus stop under the dorm that takes you to Amsterdam Ceentral.

This building is beautiful and looks just like the images, however after living here there are a few frustrating things here. There are only 6 laundry machines for 600 rooms, the back door is often broken, you can hear people loud in the halls and sometimes above your room, the lounge is missing pool equipment. It’s nice but there are some things about living here you will dislike.

Good: Nice building with good amenities. Other residents are friendly students from all over the world. Bad: It's pricey, if you're paying this much you can probably afford to pay a little more for a better place. Fire alarms go off every other day, sometimes daily and at all hours of the day and night so nobody ever leaves the building when it happens (good luck if it's ever a real fire). Rats have been spotted. Some of the receptionists are super rude. Wifi doesn't work half the time. Post can only be collected from reception between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, so screw you if you have university classes or work - you'll just have to wait until Saturday/Sunday evening to be allowed to pick up your stuff. Fair play to them the marketing does a great job of selling the place but avoid unless you're desperate imo.
