The Zaansche Mill - Kalverringdijk 30

4.6/5 based on 8 reviews

Fall in Love with the picturesque village. If you are in Amsterdam, find 2 hours time from your busy itinerary to visit Zaanse Schans. You can catch a metro from Amsterdam Centraal station to Zaandijk station, followed by a 10 mins walk to reach this beautiful village. It's worth every effort. Recommend a must visit to this place.

Beautiful place to take photos of the windmill! You should visit one of those shops nearby & get the best hot chocolate, super creamy and chocolate-y ?

I was amazed of this well-preserved historic windmills and houses. Zaanse Schans is one of the popular tourist attractions of the Netherlands We stayed at Zaandam, and it was just a few train stops from Zaandam station to Zaanse Schans and then approximately 15 minutes walk From Zaanse station to the windmill village.

Such and awesome experience here! We had a lovely day. Beautifull landscape ? We visit the mills, and the people were very helpfull with us. We went in a week day so we had the people free to give us all the explainations that we wanted :) Good to know about the history of this small but very beautifull village ?
