★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure why no one is answering i just want to clarify as visit visa to usa is showing that it might take up to 285 days, is that mean i need to apply now to get it by then or it is not updated. I have sent an email but still no reply. Anyone know something about it plz share

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff. Was in and out within 15 minutes (for a passport). Satisfied with the experience. However, it's quite difficult to contact them to ask questions and the website contradicted an email they sent me (concerning what to bring).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ American citizens were entering first even if you have appointment. Even with this they have racism. They made me wait 1 hour past my appointment. The security were not polite and yelling all the time .they will search you before you enter more than they will in an airport. Very bad experience

I have submitted my passport weeks ago with my completed application. However no one has responded to me regarding my application, and my passport is still with the embassy. Please reach out,I have paid 144 euro for my visa and i don't have any way to contact the embassy or consulate. no one answer the phone except one very rude lady who hung up on me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I went to renew the passport the woman behind the counter has a bad attitude she doesn’t know how to treat people and got rejected. And the second time I went I couldn’t renew my passport because the instructions in the website are confusing not only is it outdated but it’s awful. And when you inside you feel like you’re in a prison and their customer service is the worst I’ve had in my life. I feel traumatized, I’ve lost my money and my time. And know I’m making my third appointment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Other than the kind women working behind the counters dealing with all of us frustrated applicants, it is a pretty awful experience from start to finish. From the terrible website instructions to the endless list of requirements that cause more confusion than clarity, the US embassy is embarrassingly inefficient. Emails not returned, phone calls are automated and will send you back to the website. Oh, and if you visit in person, they will not speak to you or answer any questions without an appointment which is usually around 3 weeks out. Not a great US welcome abroad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appointment was scheduled at 10 AM. Reached the embassy around 9.30. Had to wait in the cold for an hour before I was allowed to enter. Was asked to leave all of my belongings at the security and was given a token number. And then was asked to go and wait in a room where there were a lot of people waiting for their turn to be interviewed. I was called to one of the counters in the same room and asked to submit my documents. Then asked to pay an anti fraud fee which is concerning to my visa type. After that asked to wait for my turn to be interviewed. Interview went smoothly. There was an error in my application which the interviewer corrected as I already sent a mail to the embassy informing the error prior to my interview. Visa was granted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in for an early morning passport renewal appointment, there were no lines, everything went smoothly and punctual. The staff was very friendly and we were done in 20 minutes. A great experience.
If you come prepared, and have all needed documents, a passport photo in the right size, the exact amount of cash or a credit card, a return envelope with stamps, etc…….you won’t have any difficulties.
