The chef is very friendly and knows what he is doing.. This is really next level fastfood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened to stumble across this place, as a home sick Canadian I was overjoyed to see poutine on the menu! First place in NL that I’ve found it. Wasn’t disappointed by it, would’ve liked 2x the gravy on top. (Pictured half eaten). Size was good, prices were fair. Very small shop, tight dining area. Staff was friendly but it was pretty hectic in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Montreal smoked meat was amazing, they really nailed it. Its got the really deep smoke flavour. The rye bread on the Montreal is really thick and delicious, definitely a big meal.
The first time I went, they were out of cheese for the poutine, and I even travelled back a second time from Nijmegen just to try it. I probably won’t go out of my way to make it a regular. They’ve nailed the flavour on the poutine sauce, but it was really sparse, leaving the fries a bit dry (maybe ask if you can get extra?). The cheese didn’t get any melt on it, although I do commend them on getting as close to a cheese curd, without being a traditional québécois cheese curd as possible. I will try it again when not sitting outside in windy spring cold weather and maybe have a better melty/softening effect. I would super recommend rather trying the Brisalon, it was delicious!
Not to mention, A&W ROOT BEER!
Overall, 5/5, Will definitely be back, and you should go, too!

You guys have to be the best place to have a good quality meal here in The Hague. Everything just tastes excellent. You can taste the effort and the passion these guys have when you eat their food.
Seriously, keep up the great work. Den Haag is such a better place to be with you guys here.
I just ordered a cheese burger and fries again. Love it. Thanks guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and good food. The meat was tender but I would have used more spices and herbs. It would be better. I also ordered it with extra meet but seems a bit lean on the portion. They were friendly, respectful and fast. They also let me know right away what was not available at the time. The price is on the higher end for a sandwich/burger place. Overal it is a good experience.
