★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing, inexperienced and untrained staff. The waitresses are friendly and try their best. It is clearly that this restaurant manager doesn’t train on basic restaurant skills. For example food doesn’t arrive at the same time on the table, plates consequently cold, cutlery not on table when your food arrives, bavette arrives well-done rather then the right cuisine.
All together I would say you find better places, then this hipster place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good service and the duck was really well done. A bit small for me, but ok. Interesting wine selection and good draft Weiss bier. Place is very comfortable and stylish. Would come back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped here on a recent trip to 'Dam. It came suggested to us as a"great place to grab a bite"
We didn't need to book due to liberation Day/freedom Day in Netherlands so got a table pretty easy. The staff are kind and speak English fluently - so no issues explaining what was what.
Started off with some drinks: old fashioned for me. I'd have to rate it up with the best presentation wise, so much that even the staff took photos of it! And yes it was also good flavor wise! For mains I got the duck with cauliflower mash. Maybe a tad under done for my liking but overall certainly up with the best if you like your duck rare.
Overall I'd rate this place highly - open kitchen places always get additional marks, but even if this one wasn't I'd still recommended it to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4/5 dishes over salted to the point of not edible. When talked to the waitress she told us next time to say it earlier because now we had eaten (some) we all left more than half of the dish. To explain how much Dutch staff doesn’t care about the client’s experience she didn’t even go to mention our complain to the kitchen and next an other waitress comes to ask if we enjoyed our meal (???). Oh of course, no discount, complimentary wine or desert. Overpriced and low quality, not to mention the service, stay away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t get why critiquing restaurant for being busy (sometimes), etc. but hey freedom of speech much. This said, I’ve had an incredible experience. Amazing team. Good and beverages were amazing as well. Will def come back!
