N	Nicholas Beloff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently stayed at Hotel Vondel in Amsterdam. The rooms are nice but receptionists lacking in service skills. We arrived early and stowed luggage in the baggage area. They then lost my Hugo Boss suit. Luggage came to my room minus the suit. Eventually it was found after I’d left the country and after giving express directions where to send it - these instructions were not followed, it’s a shame management are skimping on quality front of house staff. Next time will stay in a “Real” 5 star hotel - not one that “claims” to be one - very poor service - such a shame - otherwise nice location! ? got all the correspondence emails with management to prove it too!! ? real shame.

Beautiful lounge bar, great breakfast option, and great service. Excellent location, near museums, restaurants and more. Everybody smiling and helping with every single detail. For sure, I will be back my next time in Amsterdam and I strongly recommend this hotel. The room was big, with separated wardrobe, frigobar, complete bathroom (including tub). I didn't use the TV, but I enjoyed the WiFi connection, it was perfect. Thanks and congrats to all Catalonia's team. You have helped me to relax a bit after a very difficult week with your outstanding customer care.

Not luxurious, but very comfortable, with good-sized rooms. The buffet breakfast is very good. The staff are wonderful -- friendly, helpful, and patient. The location is good, near public transportation, and a short walk from Museumplein and Vondelpark.

I've been practically living here for a month and basic things like WIFI is terrible, the network is terrible, I need to go out of my room to make phone calls everytime. The Front office staff needs better training on payment software as there have been multiple misses and goof ups regarding payments. Room phone lines have cross connections with other apartments. The Housekeeping and F&B staff are fantastic, the rooms and the hotel in general is very clean and the location of the hotel is great. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and I'd speak very highly of them but if Services aren't improved, then it'll go down from here.

But the washroom wasn't very clean, sink could be cleaner , the room could use a mirror (only one in the washroom) , it's not stroller friendly because the elevators are so small and there are steps to get to the elevator too. When requesting something from front desk, you are expected to pick it up yourself.
