Heel erge pushy verkopers die perse de protex behandeling aan willen smeren. Bank meerdere keren vertraagd. Communicatie is ronduit een lachertje (slecht). Fouten kunnen gemaakt worden, maar als er dan geen passende of tijdige oplossing wordt geboden, sla je twee keer de plank mis. Enige pluspunt waren de aardige bezorgers.
Very pushy sellers who necessarily want to apply the protex treatment. Bank delayed several times. Communication is downright a joke (poor). Mistakes can be made, but if an appropriate or timely solution is not offered, you are wrong twice. Only plus were the nice delivery guys.

2 jaar geleden een bank gekocht bij Montel. Vriendelijke service vanuit de winkel. Bank werd ons aangeraden als "zeer degelijk en zou jaren mee gaan". Achteraf blijkt dit een misleidend verkooppraatje te zijn, waarbij zoals aangegeven vanuit de klantenservice deze bankt bepaalde "modelgebonden eigenschappen" heeft. In andere woorden matige materiaalkwaliteit. Na 8 maanden waren de kussens volledig doorgezeten. Het regelmatig opschudden van de kussens mocht niet baten. Wegens "modelgebonden eigenschappen" viel dit niet onder de garantie. Zeer teleurstellend, wij gingen er vanuit dat Montel een gedegen winkel was met kwalitatieve producten. Blijkbaar hadden wij het mis.
Bought a sofa from Montel 2 years ago. Friendly service from the store. Bank was recommended to us as "very solid and would last for years". In retrospect, this turns out to be a misleading sales pitch, whereby, as indicated from customer service, this bank has certain "model-related properties". In other words, mediocre material quality. After 8 months the cushions were completely worn out. Shaking the pillows regularly was to no avail. Due to "model-related properties" this was not covered by the warranty. Very disappointing, we assumed that Montel was a solid store with quality products. Apparently we were wrong.

Be aware that the sales will recommend you this magic Protexx textile to you, and do a demonstration right in front of you: one piece of normal cloth and one piece Protexx--pour the wine on it and the difference is clear-- the wine just flows away from the surface of Protexx and you can just clean the remains with a piece of tissue. You are then ready to pay several hundred euro and hope to have the same function? Wait! I order this magic with 225 euro and it turned out that it is really just a magic. On the first day when my couch was delivered, I poured wine in it in front of all my friends and my wife. I thought I can be proud of my choice and, and I am really shamed, the wine goes in to the couch. I called to the shop, they told me you should contact customer service. after waiting 8 days, I received a call from customer service, my complain is really simple, I paid for something, while you did not deliver. And their explanation is also simple: you ordered Protexx, we give you Protexx. We demonstrated something in the shop to you. But we did not say your couch will have the same effect. The thing you saw in the shop is Protexx, the thing you ordered is Protexx, and the thing we delivered is Protexx. There is no mistake. So it was my mistake to link the demonstration I saw in the shop to the couch I would have in my home. Great trick, well done!

Pretty amazing shop for Couches, chairs and tables. nice collection of designs, fabric and colors. It is on the expensive side but they last for a long while.

Poor customer service. Pity since I really liked my previous sofa set from Montel and hence, wanted to buy my new one from there. Made an appointment, showed up on time, was told to wait because agent assigned to me was assisting other customers, 25 minutes later she didn’t even bother looking my way, when I expressed my displeasure the manager came to assist, telling me constantly that they were busy and he’d left other customers to help me. He hurriedly answered my questions, making no suggestions or offering any of the advice that one expects in a store like this...was obvious he wanted to get back to the other customers. So, I took my money next door, where they were welcoming & took the time to advice me, and bought a nice living room set.

This store has some great pieces compared to ALL the other stores in this complex. I spent 2 days looking. However, the wait for my sofa is 4 months. Customer service is okay. No one asks if they can give you information... you have to try your luck at finding somone who don't really seem that interested to help. Update Nov 12, 2021!!!! Received my sofa today....FINALLY!!!! It is even more beautiful than how I remembered it when I bought it in in July 2021! Okay, the delivery men were absolutely wonderful Ruud and Peter, thank you for your professionalism and amazing flawless delivery. I was so sad about the wait time but trust me the quality from this place and the service is absolutely amazing!
