★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a NICE dinner with fresh fish (I had the catch of the day). As it was on valentine’s it was difficult to find a table but they could reserve me a small table at the bar. I liked the effort cause cause as a working traveler I really didn’t feel like going anywhere else to catch some food. Just a disappointing part was the dessert, carrot cake was not a good choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been at Persijn restaurant for my best friend birthday dinner at the end of last month. When we came in , we all had the lovely surprise to have our table decorated. The employees were really helpful and warmly welcomed us. It all felt like a familiar warm atmosphere. The food was amazing, the dishes were beautifully explained but the helpful staff and some of the dishes contained vegetables from their own green house on the top of the building. I really recommend it and I would definitely go there next time.

The food was elegant, simple and prepared with love. Veggies from their own green house on the rooftop. All other ingredients from the neighborhood. For example: bread of Broodhuys en fries from Zuyt, served with just that little extra. The service is impeccable. Not too stiff, but the right mix of spontaneity and professionalism. We were very impressed with the Dutch / Italian tomato filled with mozzarella, but all the other dishes we ate were mouthwatering too. Afterwards we had drinks on the 21ste floor of QO Hotel - which is in the same (beautiful) building -built with the utmost sustainable care. Their story is quit impressive. Juniper & Kin is a magnificent rooftop bar with botanical touches. The toilets are almost comparable with the ones in Hong Kong's (good old) Felix....peeing has never been so exciting. My friend and I had a fantastic evening. I could rave on for hours...but go..see for yourself: our great new hotspot in Amsterdam. Halleluja!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely dinner of local Dutch produce done in appropriately sized portions, makes it easier for me to order a starter, main and dessert! Everything is done minimalistic with. Twist esp the apple crumble!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat and unwind. The lunch menu is well planned and provided with the explanation behind each dish you order, I had the Codfish. The staff was kind and the bathrooms, immaculate. Protions were small but not sure if it is due to it being lunch sized or because all food served here is locally sourced. Either way, will visit again on next trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a late lunch just before Christmas. Food was delicious and service excellent.
The menu was creative and beautiful, using local ingredients. We both had a starter with pumpkin, followed by 3 varieties of parsnip with chicken and a delicious desert. The coffee was also great at the end of the meal.
Felt bad for the young man servicing our table. There was a misunderstanding when our starter and main course arrived at the table at the same time. Our waiter took the main course back to the kitchen to correct the situation. The chef got angry at him and started lashing out at him. The place was far from full, so don't understand where his frustration came from.
