★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this restaurant following a recommendation, in February. I must say that despite a very warm service, this place was not a great experience. We went there on a Friday evening, it was packed so me and my partner were sitted on a 2 person table along a wall. It was so crowded that I could bearly use my knife to cut the meet. Inside it was a very warm and steamy atmosphere, not at all inviting one to over spend his time in the restaurant. As we went in and ordered, we could not wait to eat fast and leave.
Usually they serve 3 course meals but it was allowed to take 2 courses as well. The food seemed fine, though I felt sick later during the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome meal with friendly staff. The ostrich was great as was the Boeuf Bourguignon and we had local beers. Nice Italian red wine special going while we there (it was a Barolo). Casual but very well executed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little restaurant away from touristy spots. You can sit outside beside the canal or inside. Food was good. I had some calf's cheek which was tasty. And the followed main course was Oven-baked cod with a crumble of black olives and a purée of potatoes - artichokes. Absolutely delightful. Fish was cook to perfection. Crumble of black olive and puree of potatoes, artichokes went so well with the delicate taste of fish. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try.

The soup of the day (pumpkin & lentil) was absolutely delicious - hearty and warm) and the Gado Gado salad starter was beautifully presented and so tasty ! The restaurant offers a 2 course or 3 course menu (if I remember correctly at 22 & 28 euro respectively).

Food was prepared exceptionally, served immediately, and our every whim was catered to. Great wine and exceptional value. Fantastic. Go!

We had the following dishes which were amazing: Steak ?, Fish ?, Gnocchi ?
For dessert we had the brownie and cheesecake which were also super yummy!
The portions are small to medium size.
