★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met a very dear friend there. The service is wonderful. It is so cozy in there and it feels amazing just to be there. It has a feeling that you can't get at many other places. Food is remarkable and their coffee is good. You can go for a drink, coffee or food and there is no issue. It is a very cool hang out space.

Only popped in for a beer. Ended up with a bottle of wine (dearer than I would have liked) Stampot, pasta. All of which was very good. And copious portions. Great atmosphere. I'll be back next time I'm there. Honest.
Unless I go to one of the other umpteen cafes in Rembrandplein. No, I'll be back...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Next to Smokey's, best spot in this area! No just kidding of course, this is by far the favorite place to go to. Feels like coming home every time. Staff is very very kind. And the whole atmosphere is just great. As is the drink and food menu. You can have a quick snack or a lovely long dinner with the best wines available. Winner!

Food: good portions, delicious
Arrived 9.30pm and checked the cafe was still serving as google maps said they closed at 10pm. Sat down for drinks and ordered promptly. Food arrived hot and tasty. Tried their local Dutch sausages and mash, salad, pasta similar to a cabonara and fish with pork belly. Quite meat heavy and filling.
Note: it is right next to a coffee shop to expect whiffs of smoke drifting across from next door if you’re sitting outside.
Good for people watching as it’s right on Rembrandt square.
