★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit monument voor koningin Wilhelmina uit 1987 is zeker het bezoeken waard. Het ligt weliswaar verborgen in een hoek van het pleintje en wordt overschaduwd door het ruiterstandbeeld, maar het heeft zeker een interessant verhaal.
This monument for Queen Wilhelmina from 1987 is certainly worth a visit. Although it is hidden in a corner of the square and is overshadowed by the equestrian statue, it certainly has an interesting story.

The statue is by Charlotte van Pallandt and is a bronze copy of the stone statue of Queen Wilhelmina located in Rotterdam. Van Pallandt originally intended the statue in bronze, but the municipality of Rotterdam preferred a stone monument
