★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were upgraded to a bigger room which made our stay even more pleasurable.
The hotel is immense value for the money. The location is perfect as you'll most likely end up at this side of the city during your stay. We walked everywhere and loved it.
The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are very nice. No noise complaints and no issues at all. Would definitely stay here next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really liked the location, which is of the beaten path from the more touristy districts. We upgraded to a suite and it was the standard size of a traditional American hotel room. No kitchenette. Fine Balcony overlooking another building. Front Desk staff was friendly, special shout out to Victoria who was great. We were disappointed by the cleanliness/readiness of the room. There was no remote for the television, the previous guests socks were hanging on the television, and there was only a half roll of toilet paper in the room without backup. Overall, we would stay again, seems like a few unfortunate little things just stacked up for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called reception 2 times with ample response. 1st time because there was mixed messages about breakfast times, they said they would call back but never did. 2nd because there was no hot water, again my call wasn’t returned. So finally decided to take a cold shower and fled out of the hotel. Will definitely never come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room for 2 persons, but it was my birthday and some of my friends wanted to come by for a present and some cake. So i called if it would be okay for them to come by, and it was fine! When i arrived the woman i spoke to on the phone gave us a warm welcome. In the room there was a birthday card with flowers! The vieuw and the room were amazing.
Unfortunatly the sheets werent clean so we had to ask for new ones. We got some extra sheets and somebody offered to put them on even. Eventually some of my friends decided they wanna stay so we asked if there would be a cheap room voor the night and we got offered a room for 45,- The staff was very polite.
Overall my birthday was really nice because i could have some friends over and slept very good in the big soft bed.
Even tho the hotel itself isnt perfect, it's important for me that the hospitality is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the price this is quite a decent hotel in a very good location. At this price in Amsterdam you can end up in some really bad places that haven't been renovated since the 1970's. The Grand Hotel is modern and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was perfect in this Hotel. The Room was big, clean and comfortabel. Also we can go outside from Our room and can see a lot from amsterdam. Very friendly Service and also very good Breakfast with everything what you need. Also a birthday surprise for my boyfriend was no Problem. Very fast answers. Thank you very much. We will come again in march.
